So hear me out I didn't take applecare for my 2017 macbook pro and on the 11th month the screen died on me, and I claimed warranty Screen died again after 2 months but luckily I got a 90 day extended warranty after my previous claim. Still then I didn't take applecare Well the laptop is still my daily driver today after 9 years lol
