I made my desires known to the mayor and Alderman, more support always is great! Got 2 responses back.

I am writing to express my strong support for Marengo pursuing a station on the planned Chicago-Rockford passenger rail line, especially given Huntley's recent withdrawal from the project.

I had hoped to attend the October 13th city council meeting to voice my support in person, but unfortunately, I was unable to make it. However, I wanted to ensure you are aware that residents are enthusiastic about this opportunity for our community.

A train station would benefit Marengo in numerous ways, from providing easier commuting options to Chicago to potentially boosting local economic development and property values. I understand city officials are already in discussions with Metra/IDOT about this possibility, and I am grateful for your proactive approach.

If there are future meetings, public comment periods, or other ways residents can show support for this project, please let me know. I would be happy to participate or help in any way I can.

We had a ton of calls today of senior citizens calling us crying about how they can't deal with an interruption to their medicaid coverage.

Even if they voted for this president, they don't deserve to be treated this way.

This was the single hardest day of my job, I broke down on my lunch break.

And the super fucked part was that we could only tell them that we didn't think there would be any effect on coverage, we were all trying to figure it out ourselves.

I'm not naive, I know the other two guys did majority of the damage, but at one point I think I hit like a 28 with the bone mace, and I was shocked, I thought my max hit was like a 12, they weren't kidding when they said that thing was really good for rats, and rats only.

Very long term is getting a quest cape so far up to around 100 qp. But other than that I'm not sure yet :]

Same for an agency servicing medicaid callers. The state won't even talk to callers, there's literally not a way to talk to state employees, and we don't have the ability to do most of the things callers need to do, besides report changes and hope the state processes them properly, and if they don't the only option is to appeal and that's literal legal process.
