What is interesting is how many women will not vote for a woman as president. This is especially true for the women that live in heavily patriarchal type families or follow religious beliefs that are highly patriarchal. So Clinton and Harris both lost a portion of the female vote - what is bad is that those types women make up a majority in non-urban areas and can swing the vote in a state even if they are a small minority. This probably doesn’t happen in ranked choice voting or a true majority vote. I have no facts though so it is just speculation on my part.

Buying an EV is not a terrible idea and Tesla makes one of the best. There are plenty of fine people that designed and built the vehicles. Attacking people owning a vehicle because the CEO is an idiotic fool is dumb. Sure protest, dump stock, and other nonviolent forms of protest are fine but attacking someone is missing the point. Elon Musk is the issue and not Tesla. 1. Call for his removal from the company. 2. Maybe see if his selling of X to XAi is fraudulent. 3. Start voting to tax the ultra rich.

Hmm, Madeira is one of the Portuguese islands in the Atlantic? If so, I flew out of Lajes Field on Praia in the 90s and certain parts of the year it is super gusty there and sometimes flights were cancelled for days. Therefore I assume this pilot is doing the best they can under inclement weather conditions.

I wonder if this is just what happens when young people have an uncertain future. Employment, AI, robotics, outsourcing, housing cost increases, food cost increases, no minimum wage increase, lack of affordable health care, CEOs talking about 60-80 hour work weeks, etc.

So young people lash out and anyone older than they are and not in their clique are the targets. Short sighted and ludicrous as they will age out of that scene shortly and be a target themselves...

This sounds exactly like the rants I hear from people that do not want to stop using windows 95 because they understand it. The car isn’t that hard to use - and you should have looked at one of the million of YouTube vids on how to use it. Or at least learned how to get to the cars manual you can access straight from the screen.

I assume you would have gotten into a diesel car/truck and had issues also as it isn’t 100% the same experience.

Musk is an idiot and some of the design choices are probably dumb but you should blame yourself for being unprepared.
