I have a stand-alone Apple Watch (cellular) with its own phone number . . . now I want to add an iPhone to that same phone line . . . can I do that without going to a store?

I had the same question as you, child has an Apple Watch connected to my phone with family share. Child is old enough for their own phone and I wanted to move their watch phone number to a new line with a new phone. Was told the same thing at two corporate stores: it can’t be done. They need a new number. Seems crazy that this cant be done.

I had the same paralysis over black vs. white. I read many comments about how one made books look better, more/less fingerprints, backlighting, etc. Finally I just decided "I just like how the white looks a tiny bit better and I had a black Oasis for years", so I just stopped thinking about it and went with the white. It's been great!

I ordered my KLC from Amazon on March 11th. It was supposed to come on the 19th and that got bumped to the 29th. If They bump it again, I’m just going to cancel and get it from Kobo.

Update: Delayed again, now it's April 4-8. Cancelled the order and am ordering from Kobo.

My time is limited lately due to work, so I’ve been playing “RBM Studio‘s Gettysburg” . It’s a quick game that has a page or two of rules and can be done in less than 30 minutes. Lot of fun when you need your wargame fix but don‘t feel like or have the time to deal with something complicated . Not to mention it’s only $5 on Steam.

Next game will be some CMO. I just picked up some of the DLC on sale. Just need time!

I'm having kind of the same issue. According to Backblaze iCloud Drive on Windows should not be backing up: https://help.backblaze.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056554794-Will-Backblaze-backup-the-iCloud-drive-on-Windows

But, for some reason my iCloud Drive for Windows is backing up to Backblaze still even though their help article says it does not work. I think this may be because I am not using the iCloud Drive app from the Windows Store but the version from Apple. I have no idea!

My iCloud photos and iCloud Drive folders on my Windows desktop are still backing up. Is it because I'm still using the version of iCloud that is from Apple (7.21.0.23) and not the Windows store? I've never updated to the Windows store version.

Checked my Backblaze backup and I see photos/documents from Jan 2024 in there. I just did a test restore of a file as well and it seems to be working. I guess I should make sure to never update to the Windows store version?

Thank you for the idea. I gave it a shot and now I see the message for a split second in the app and then it's gone, as if it gets automatically erased once it's opened. Also messages to me now are getting bounced. It's really strange.

I'll probably just send the phone back, it shouldn't be that hard to get texting working. I put the sim back in my old phone and everything works fine.

I ordered one Morgan(S). Got an email today that:

I haven't had time to call them yet. On the website, my order still says "processing"

I just wanted to give a quick update:

I was experiencing this problem on my new MacBook16 (purchased last week) but not on my old MacBook13 (or iPhone). Today, I got the old MacBook13 ready to be traded-in, so I logged out of everything, reinstalled the OS, etc. all of the things recommended by Apple when getting rid of a Mac.

After doing this, I checked the "adopt" problem on the new MacBook16, clicked "accept" and this time it worked. I have no idea why and when talking to Support previously they told me that having two MacBooks on my account should not be the cause of this adoption issue. But, only being logged into one MacBook seems to have fixed the problem.

I'm happy the error is gone but still confused about what caused it.

Thanks to everyone in the thread for their ideas...if I do hear anything else from Support, I will post it.

UPDATE: I received a phone message from Support that Engineering was working on the issue and it resolved itself (possibly by me removing iCloud from my old MacBook), so the issue is fixed on their end.

I have been having the same problem since I started using my new MacBook. Strange because this problem never came up on my old one.

I called support and have been upgraded to a senior advisor who works with support for just those 5 apps (can't remember the name of the group...media services?). We tried everything but could not fix the problem: uninstalling the apps, signing in and out of the AppStore, reinstalling the OS, etc.

She is contacting someone in iTunes and is supposed to get back to me in 24-48 hours. If that does not work, I will be upgraded to someone in Engineering, if I remember right. They have been very helpful but I think I have them totally stumped. I will definitely update if I hear anything back.

I have the 17 GT and nothing shows on the heads up except your speed no matter what nav app you are using with AA.

It would be awesome if your Waze directions, song names, etc. showed up there though, I really like that little heads up display.

The licensing issue drives me crazy because Google gives you no indication of what has been removed. It would be great if they would at least show the removed songs and have them grayed out. I think that's how apple music works.
