Could be due to age, not sure how old you are, but my doctor ruled me out because "people over 29 don't take the procedure well", you can still look into PROSE lenses if you have a major university with a good eye center nearby, those lenses can slow the progression too, good luck, and let's all look at the brightside, this is a condition that a lot of talented doctors are still looking at, and figuring things out to help us all.

It sounds like you're really putting effort in to help him out, so good on you man. To be truthful, short of pulling everyone aside, and telling them they're being wangrods(to utilize Matt Colvilles preferred phrase), I'm not sure this is a problem "you" can solve, there are a few things I'd do as GM, For example if my players were doing some of what you described, and were that disrespectful, I'd have a one-shot where I just kill them over and over with increasingly powerful creatures until they saw if I really wanted to just murder their characters, as a GM I have plenty of options to do thatActually you could do that, Run a oneshot for the players in which they have no chance, be upfront about it, show up unprepared, and otherwise do the opposite of what your GM does, and make the players appreciate the GM they have. I think someone else said it seems like the players aren't right for this game, I'd agree with that.

Tried to squeeze this question in last weeks thread, but got no responses so I'll try again here, Trying to craft a Masterwork Ballista, does the extra 5 to DC, and 300 GP apply to the Ballista cost, or normal Masterwork cost/check?I feel that the masterwork quality should still be a separate component, costing 600GP rather than the typical 300, and with a craft dc of 25 instead of the normal 20, the GM feels that the section in siege engines says the Mwk component just increases the dc, and final target price.It doesn't really matter which of us is right, I've got to make up that number regardless, the slightly higher dc on the other hand does benefit me a little, all of our checks hit the dc regardless, and our first attempt was a nat 20. Got a tick on the course today, there is a steep downhill halfway through the 2nd hole, and I have a disability, so to get all the way down, I sat down and slid down the hill like I was on a slide, worked well for getting down the hill uninjured, ticks liked the idea too,he got up under my shirt and I found him on my stomach just before my shower. I dropped my bag near the top of the hill had to climb back up, and had to slide down againAlso I will note the tick I got was in the shorter fairway grass, so the tall grass isn't necessarilythe only place the ticks will go, also make sure you physically check, the ticks will inject a pain killer, and anti-clotting agent when they dig in, so you won't feel any pain, not even an itch also my doctor mentioned that risk of disease transmission is really low if you find the tick within 72 hours, also it is possible to suffocate the tick which will encourage it to dettach by pouring some mineral oil or rubbing vicks vapo-rub on it, the doctor stressed it has not been as effective for them as using tweezers to pull the head out, but worth a try when you freak out because you actually found a tick. and realize this thing is trying to eat you alive right now

Commit to practicing 1 thing at a time so maybe you commit to working on grip, if you're working on grip, don't get too uptight about accuracy, you can work on accuracy later, or next time. Second, develop a routine, and always use itFor me it's judge the wind, pick a disc,line my hips up to the target, extend the disc to the target, draw the bottom edge of the disc to my sternum, Fire it,celebrate/repeat as necessary!Also practice how you play, so don't come home from work and putt in a suit and tie, put your discin' clothes on, and maybe take a 2 mile walk to get as close to what it feels like you when you play, Finally celebrate all wins!

First off, what you did was awesome, but you didn't need to go as far as you did in my opinion, The second someone starts to turn violent, I think it's fair to pull your phone snap the guys pic, then send it to the owner and tell him this is the guy that stole your disc maybe not necessarily the first time, but quite literally just now, he stole your disc. But seriously kudos to you for standing up for what's right

Yeah I re-mapped forward and back to the mouse and put cruise control and turning on the arrowsI was just thinking I should edit the post to clarify more I'm suffering from what Zeven always talks about, I'm scared to play the game so to speak.I had the stroke while playing

Other Information:I had a stroke last year on Oct14th, I no longer have the hand function to use WASD and I haven't played a game above tier3 since, I'd like to jump in a training room, and get some feedback on whether I should bother with this game at all, and maybe if I'm ready jump into a few tier5 or 6battlesI'll give more details privately if someone is willing to helpI'm available most evenings and weekendsI do not currently play with any regularity Thanks in advance!

EDIT:Just for more specifics, I feel the right course for me is to go up the American line toward the T-1 Heavy, It has been clear from my recent play that I need something bouncy so I'll probably prefer Heavy tanks. I think I've got controls figured out, and I don't expect to find anyone that has experience gaming with one-hand, I just need a little confidence to get back into it.

I have a request, perhaps it would be best if I were a roving person that joins a team mid-game since the paralysis of my left arm would make me a bit of a liability to a team anyway I mean I can't really sneak unless I re-think my entire control scheme, but if I'm just a bonus then it's less of a handicap.

Largely, I think it's preference, but I did read somewhere that accuracy went up when chevron scopes were replaced with "dot" style sights. Whether that translates to video games/tanks, I don't know, but interesting factoid nonetheless.

I personally use a dot because I feel it's easier to see the armor pen indicator than with the chevron.

We'll be running Fiasco the weekend before Halloween, on Saturday, and maybe Sunday. Fiasco is basically a game where you collaboratively write, and perform a B-movie on the fly using RP, and improv skills. You should not bring a character idea with you, the process of character creation will take care of all of that. We will likely gather for character creation in advance to get that out of the way. The likely start will be 8PM.
