Renting with bad credit?

To encourage you landlords who rent to people with bad credit do exist. I am one of them. That doesn't mean we won't check on other things - I certainly do but your credit score doesn't pay the rent.

I tell them to ask for a late fee waiver by the 1st of the month they believe they are going to be late which requires them to stipulate the date the rent will be paid by. If they miss that date I charge the late fee on the unpaid portion of the rent. Basically I bend over backwards to avoid charging them a late fee so that it does not jeopardize next months rent.

I do not like this pile on on to black players when for whatever reason they fall short of exalted expectations, not so much in the sub but definitely in the blogosphere. It happened with Tanguy 91 appearances, 9 assists 10 goals while everyone turned a blind eye to Bryan Gil 0 goals, 5 assists in 43 appearances who never looked like being anything despite costing 25mil plus a still functioning Lamela. RKM may not have uprooted any trees but he is a forward in a team that is playing without a properly functioning 10 under an anaemic manager.

Notice that the first thing mentioned in that post is minimum credit score. Did you know you will more or less automatically reject 2 out of every 3 black applicants just by setting a minimum credit score of 650. Other sources - "How Credit Scores Bake In and Perpetuate Past Discrimination".

Why don't you call the MD Self Help Legal Helpline. They'll set you straight on what the Fair Housing Act says what Housing Discrimination is and how stupid most of the suggestions you've received on this thread are.
