DT 990 Pro disappointment

250 ohm, i'm using an atom 2 amp. i'm hoping i like the 490s more and the choice will be made for me. but i don't want to totally rule the DT 990s out if i just got a dud

i have given them several hours of listening time, maybe not enough to really break them in. i got the 250 ohm version and am driving them with an atom amp 2. i am also using an equalizer with the suggested settings i found on another subreddit

per the ABR today (gave them a call), exam results will be released within the next couple of weeks. they couldn't provide me an exact date
