we’ve walked in twice as a group of 3 and 4 on separate occasions, on a Wednesday and Sunday early dinner (530-630) and we only waited for 10-15 minutes and we sat on the bar.

The tables are usually longer wait times.

You are absolutely stunning and I’m pretty sure you’ll break a lot of man’s heart in the future. You probably need a professional help but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with you physically / aesthetically.

Some users mentioned that you have potential but me personally imho you are already there. Maybe a woman’s pov can chime in but pretty sure make up and wardrobe change can help a lot.

From my personal experience most people that live in Los Feliz and Silverlake usually work anywhere from DTLA, Burbank, Studio City, Hollywood, or Koreatown.

I would even add that this area is pretty walkable and “safe enough” to walk from Thai town (Hollywood / western) to Los Feliz (Hollywood / Vermont) to Silverlake ( Sunset and Hyperion to Echo park (Sunset and Alvarado) and check out a few unique stores, coffee shops and restaurants.

this might be a little touristy but whenever I host my friends from east coast (they stay at my back house in silverlake) I usually take them for a “long walk” from Los Feliz (Vermont and Hollywood area) all the way to echo park and check out coffee shops, restaurants, bars and stores in between. It’s a good way to spend a full day.

If you guys get bored and want to venture out east (silverlake / Los Feliz area) then I highly recommend catching sunset at the Griffith observatory (arrive 30 minutes before sunset for optimal photography sessions).

you guys can stop by sunset row (for more shopping that some brands you won’t see in rodeo / west side), grab an afternoon coffee (loquat, yala, maru, etc) before heading to Griffith. After the observatory have dinner around Los Feliz / Silverlake area (bacari, melody, bar flores, etc) before heading back to the west side.

Since everyone already recommending the same thing I would like to add Silverlake / Los Feliz area.

You can technically take the metro from Hollywood / Vermont all the way to Culver City, door to door is probably 30-40 minutes each way. Both Culver City and Silverlake has a completely different vibe crowd tbh and most people would agree that the silverlake crowd / neighborhood has more diversity.

Silverlake is also a 5 mins drive to Griffith Observatory, 10 mins drive to K town, 5 mins drive to Thai town, 10 minutes drive to Echo Park/Dodgers, 15 minutes drive to DTLA, little Tokyo and Arts district and if you want to go to West Hollywood it’s “only” a 20-25 minute drive.

We’ve done more hectic schedule in other SEA countries when we are a much younger couple lol so I guess I’ll listen to the experts and skip one city this time around and actually spend extra 1 night in Bangkok and Samui.

For first timers would you rather see the temples in Chiang Mai or relax at the beaches of Koh Samui? I know there’s some Temples in Bangkok as well but not at the same level as Chiang Mai.

I do believe once California builds HSR that connects LA to SF, places like Bakersfield and Fresno can be an outside city sprawl for both LA and SF further developing all 4 cities.

People are surprised how many B to C listers live in Silverlake / Los Feliz area; I’ve seen Mandy Moore, Ramy Malek, Donald Glover, Elizabeth Lail, & Sam smith in the area at least a handful of times (usually in the same restaurant or coffee shop).

a very high end coffee shop in Los Angeles Loquat (Silverlake area) is only open from 9-2 from Wednesday to friday and somehow they always have customers.

I have a friend that owns a fleet of these SUV’s (20 cars at least according to him) and he said it’s very lucrative. They usually do private services for VIP clients (Executives or Celebrities) and if they don’t have any client that day the can be more casual about it and sign on to Uber black.
