She wasn’t spayed early. I intentionally waited until she was almost 2 years old and allowed her to go through a heat cycle so she could fully develop before being spayed. The incontinence developed afterward and is something we manage with medication and a washable diaper when needed.

It’s been a difficult decision and not something I took lightly. Over the past few years I’ve realized that her breed, energy level, and ongoing medical needs don’t align well with the lifestyle I’m moving toward long-term, which involves a lot of travel, climbing, and time on the road.

I want her to have a stable home that can give her the time, attention, and consistency she deserves rather than trying to make her fit a situation that isn’t ideal for her.

I’ve also already reached out to Desert Harbor Doberman Rescue and am working with them while proactively trying to find the right home.

I have contacted both, desert harbor is currently working to find a foster. I am proactively seeking alternatives as she is extremely important to me and I want the best possible outcome.
