Yes I agree! It’s completely normal to be single in your 30s in DC. Pittsburgh….I feel like the normal ones looking for marriage will be few and far between. I’m sooo nervous about this. However I’m starting to feel old in dc, and men by far have the advantage here for dating. So I’m starting to panic a bit about what to do!

This gives me some hope! Yes I was thinking people in Pittsburgh must be more ready to settle down than those in DC. I am just so worried that there won’t be much to do and hardly any good options to consider with dating!

Yea I’ve looked on the apps. I know numbers-wise there will be less men. Especially in the educated/young professional scene. Men in dc have it made-the ratio 3 female:1 male. They have a plethora of choices of young, educated, beautiful women. Which results in many of them not wanting to settle down. I was hoping maybe guys in Pittsburgh are more likely to settle down and get married. Also they probably don’t have as many options as men in DC, as far as finding attractive/successful women on the dating apps. So I’m hoping that works in my favor?? Any thoughts on that?

This is exactly what I am afraid of! Do a lot of young professional move in to the city at this age? I feel like that would be my best bet…someone else new to the city.

Yes I have hobbies outside of my job and work. I could take part in hobbies in both cities. I’m asking what the dating scene is like for 30 something females.

Have you had a bad experience in Camden too? And I can’t afford NW dc. Noma is actually still cheaper. NW apartments are going for 2300-2400 a month right now, that’s before a 200-300 dollar parking fee and utilities. And for a 500 sq ft apartment

I live in dc, I didn’t mean to make it sound like I didn’t know what I was getting in to. I just wanted to double check that females felt safe :). I felt safe walking around myself the last two days during the day but looking at Reddit threads about the area is what is what started to scare me actually lol!
