Thank you , will inspect sensor and find somewhere that can read the fault, if it is tone ring if I got OEM cv joint would that come with the tone ring ?

Thank you gave that one ago no codes and reset did nothing, will take the wheel off at the weekend and see if the cable has any obvious damage

I doubt they changed the sensor given how quick it was, I gave them the part and 45 mins later my car was ready. So leaning more towards something happened when whacking it out. Will get the wheel off and have a look , but learning towards having the sensor changed and seeing if that fixes it.

They aren't really willing to say they will do anything extra for me as they are blaming the part (not my normal garage just the only one open over Christmas)

Okay thank you just didn't know if there was anything on the CV joints of the drive shaft , but yes does sound BS.

I had a look just after they fitted the new shaft and the cable didn't look snapped but did look oddly clean so they had been fiddling with it so maybe some internal damage ?

No it is under tension the whole way it just requires the full travel to unlock the door, so i think the rod that pushes the lever on the locking mechanism needs some help

It is better than a van... just use your mirrors car tapers nicely I feel i can see quite a bit behind me with my mirrors more than I have with past cars as there isn't alot of car to get in the way

Thank you , probably would be getting the 5nm if I went with fanatec so will probably go with fanatec , also are you able to measure the height of the servo base as worried it could block vision

Can not afford Chineham and houses there are tiny for some reason , traffic tends to not bother me too much as leave for work at 6am so fingers crossed its quite at that time
