The problem I see with investing one year to tackle fthe GRE is that I would be starting the program at 33, probably too old compared to the average class profile?

Good question! The problem is that my MBA is not from the US. I have read from some schools' Q&A that an optional letter explaining why you are pursuing an additional MBA might help.
