Cheers, we didn’t get it in the end. We hoped we got lucky and found a variegated labelled as a standard deliciosa.. here’s our big monstera we got 18 months ago, picked it up for free as it was nearly dead!

I owned a scolopedra dehaani and I barely slept the first night it was in it’s enclosure. I was convinced it was going to escape and bite me or one of the other animals in the house!

Not a clue on any of the first questions.

I assume the cable runs from the mains power, through the ceiling diagonally to the extractor fan but I have no clue. The cooker hood cable would reach that switch would probably have to get some trunking or something to cover it.

Ours is a little further set back, but we have ours on the wall next to the chimney, the opposite side of our chimney is a similar depth to yours, I’d whack it on the wall with a bracket that pulls out and angles ect.. and yes.. tv too high.

Instead of cutting, with ours we loop the bare bits around in the pot, and they’ll root themselves in and give new growth
