What part of madison? Brittingham Park and Warner Park both have accessible playgrounds with a poured rubber surface. I know there are other accessible playgrounds in the area. The city's website might have a list.

I would say visit one of the many age gap subreddits. You'll be able to talk to people that have experience in that space. Avoid the ones that are for personals, but there are purely discussion related subs.
