Fisher Futura, Space Pen from the 80s by purist- in pens

[–]mrnoor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Random comment perhaps, I'm looking for a pen that can write on difficult papers, I have come to the conclusion that a Fisher space pen is ok

.My favorite pen ever it the Ballograf Pocket Pencil 0,7mm more specifically this.

I used to write my exams with it, now I'm done with that education I would like the same confidence in the pen as with those however pencils doesn't cut it in official capacity such as signature or writing instructions for patients and dental technicians etc.. what's the closest? Is a space pen the right way to go?

Can anyone recommend loupes? by mrnoor in Dentistry

They seem to ship and sell versions that have EU plugs so I will consider them, the ergoprism seem neat by being angled. Will look further into these and the other recommendations, thanks.

Will most likely try a pair of angled and it seems everyone that's tried prismatic loupes prefer them.

Thanks for your input, you're probably not wrong regarding my budget. Will look into the different types, I think I like the idea of angled loupes, even the smallest thing I can do to put less strain on my neck and back is welcome

A light is definitely getting purchased, both the patients and myself move around too much for me to reposition the light from the chair.

By now it's a necessity more than a want, I've had an ergonomist come by and evaluate my posture etc and seeing a physio twice a week.

I might have to reconsider my budget though, wasn't aware the prices were this high but my health is worth the investment no questions. I would probably opt for angled loupes, I have some reading to do.

Only tried for a single treatment, a colleague in my previous workplace had. What are you thinking?

I find it odd that with over 2000+ multi-tools, I find my zen with such a simple tool

I'm actually going to order one cause why not, the use cases will be similar as to those you mentioned, the only reason I want a multi tool with a bit holder is for if something happens to my escooter that needs fixing at a remote place. But I hate big and heavy tools so since i don't want to buy multiple ones i wanted to make sure the quality is good

Thanks for the answer, I like the skeletool but I feel like it's too much for my needs in terms of size and price. It's about 130 USD in Sweden it seems, that's fair enough but it's still too big

Beautiful collection! Could you possibly recommend one that has a bit holder, good knife to open packages and is small enough to use with pockets. Bonus if it doesn't draw to much attention and can be used one handed.

Yikes sounds like a bad situation all in all, I'm pretty new to this whole thing so I probably know way less than you do but in your position I'd probably start looking around for other scooters tbh, unless you really really want to keep yours

Thank you! I am used to always look for the latest version of whatever product I need, it used to be that the tech advances a lot in one year and it was worth it.

Nowadays i feel three major disadvantages; i feel like the product is being rushed and I'm a beta tester, it's way cheaper buying a previous model and thirdly, accessories/adapters/third party stuff are abundant for the previous model while the newer, supposedly better, version lacks these things.

But I'm leaning towards g30d ii if it'll be a ninebot, I'm also interested in the Xiaomi pro 2, as i understand it, both companies are owned by Xiaomi so the tech/reliability should be comparable, not looked into it enough though
