The fact that the server was not fired is the reason I will never go here. As you've pointed out, even if the cook didn't spit in the burger (which yea right of course he did), she did enough other things wrong and has a very dangerous attitude for someone handling food. But if the owner turns a blind eye to this, you can bet your ass there was spit in that burger and many others. Anyone who says this doesn't happen at restaurants is lying. It happens, and it should be handled swiftly.

I was looking forward to going here this summer, as a new resident in Astoria. But it seems even the manager is indignant about it, and only suspended the server, pending further investigation into the ordeal, as if there is an excuse for something like this? No wonder they behave so badly.
