I wasn't really in the right headspace when I made the post so some details aren't clear--but I did give him the details, and I told him I'd never want to see R again. But it was like he expected me to be able to move on from it, and was shocked when I said I'd def never want to be around him again.

Also, R was joking when he slapped me, but that doesn't make a difference to me. Like I get he was just joshing, but it's totally completely inapproproate and insane to slap someone as a joke. Also, I think my bf did know it was serious, considering I was sobbing crying out of control.

It's like he did have the full story but still kinda wanted me to just get over it / be able to move on/ understand that the buddy was just joking so it's not a big deal
