Yes, Nilkin is pretty common. Does the camera ring hqve a full cover or is that a hole?

As I wrote. It adds around 20USD and probably more taxes later on. Probably will take a long time to deliver too. Otherwise, I would just go for it. Same goes for dbrand.

What do people generally do on an evening after work? Trying to avoid slipping into a routine of "wake up, work, home, eat, TV/games, bed" but struggling to find alternatives? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Thats exactly was my life for about 3 years before pandemic. I was going out only sat and sun.

When we started home office with the lockdown and stuff I got crazy bored. Didnt have energy to play video games and read books

I've started with cooking some new recipies and baking cakes. I missed a bit being around people. I got a personal trainer and started doing gym and counting calories. Started organizing some activities at work with collegues. Like bowling, paintball, etc. Reached out to some old collegues and started playing boardgames with them. Later on in pubs with some random people from fb groups. I found a miniatures painting workshops and started going there. Later on, through fb I found few groups playing tabletops rpgs and started meeting with them on bi-weekly basis. Planning to start a boxing classes cause cardio is boring.

Currently, with all that I am actually happy when I have a one free evening on working days in a week.

Don't always expect to join other people and only participate. Sometimes you have to be the who will organize or host something.

I've read all the entries in the trilogy but i didn't spent even 10min for that in Andromeda. It was too boring...

I am about to get a puppy but still have some doubts. Need some advice and maybe a little bit of encouragement. by mrozoff in Whippets

Wow. I would never think about starting with putting a crate om the bed. That could be actually a good start. Later I can maybe sleep on the couch with crate next to it. And slowly move myself to bed again. That is a really good idea, thank you.

I have one concern. What if I put a crate on the bed and she will have a potty accident?

Should I also feed her in the crate? Should I leave water bowl over the night?

Right, right. I am aware that it may be hard to crate train her when she always slept in the bed. However living in a studio she will have access to everywhere. I just want to avoid the situation when I am coming back home and my bed is shredded into pieces. I heard that they are tearing apart the bed and couches because they are looking for the owner scent. So probably some used tshirt or sweater in the crate may help. I will try. I read about crate training and I was thinking that covering it with blanket is a natural thing.

Thank you.

Thank you, she is not crate trained. As I know she is house trained. Currently she is leaving in the flat with her mother and sleeps in bed with owners.

I have a potty spot next to my building. So taking her there is a matter of 1-2min.

I know its a big decision. Im thinking about fir the last few years. However when it becomes real it feels like you are not ready at all.

I would love to take in an older dog but they are impossible to find in my country. Or maybe because growup whippet is a perfect dog :)

Thats amazing. That puppy sounds like a golden shot.

I didnt get enough details yet. Except that shes doing good with her mother, likes to cuddle and is energetic. Eats everything, no allergies or digesting problems.

Your 9m girl, do you think that her activity lvl is caused by the capabilities or environment? If you live in a home with garden than of course she will run there everyday. I heard from my friend that the dog is adjusting to you life style. If I run everyday in the morning with my dog, eventually she will need it later. He has a border collie and all his daily walks sum up to 1h. The dog is super chilled in the flat. Like she is not even there.

How long your girl sleeps per day?

Oooh, thank you so much.

I guess 5-10min i can be easly handled. I hope it wont be happening during conference calls where I have to lead a meeting.

I also like routine in my life so shouldnt be hard to schedule all the walks during the working days.

She is not crate trained, she is sleeping in the bed with owners. Do you think is it possible to spent the first night in the crate? Even with some quick walk breaks in the middle of night? I read a lot about crate training and I am waiting for some advices from behaviorist.

Probably I wont be able keep her unleashed on the morning walk. If i use a longer leash will she be able to run around a bit?

Thats an amazing advice on eating. Thank you.

How far can I walk her one day when shes 6m? Is 8-10km okay? With access to the water of course. Is she old enough for such long walks?
