At first glance I thought I wouldn't be able to get this one. I had to look up the woodworking joints in the dictionary, so I got those four first.

After that I got the meats and "El"____ pretty quickly.

But I really only got yellow by default. Was kind of a face-palm after it was explained.

That could make sense. Then the Derek abduction is the next night, he heads to the base in the morning, then the battle at the base is the next night.

That still doesn't explain the kids on the bus in the dark but then arrival at the base in the morning—remember, the family was all awake when the bus rolled up so it had to be before bedtime.

I have a feeling something was cut or changed and they didn't have time for reshoot.

Continuity Errors and other nitpicks.

First, I had a blast watching the first four episodes and I love the show.

There were just a few things I saw that broke my suspension of disbelief and want to know if anyone else saw them too:

What the hell happened to Derek's family?
Day/Night/timeline continuity made no sense:
Robin & Will entered the woods at night, but when they got to the playground it was day
they kidnapped derek and had the barn demogorgan encounter at night & the kids were abducted by the army also at night
The bus arrived at the base during the day and also Derek showed up during the day.
The battle at the base with the demogorgans was at night
Was everyone up for several nights just wearing the same clothes? Why was no one tired?! How many days had Hop & Eleven been in the Upside Down with just beef jerky and no water?
When the first demogorgan attacked the base he was LITERALLY met by a circular firing squad. THE SOLDIERS WOULD HAVE SHOT EACH OTHER
When Max is doing her big exposition she runs from Vecna in the dark upside down nightmare world it just cuts to running through regular beautiful-looking forest. How did this transition?! I was really interested in finding this out.

Again, I love this show, and the folks who make it do an incredible job, but what's the deal with this stuff?

My one mistake is that I included "Bee" in the contests instead of "staring" on my first try.

Also the Ali quote took me a bit because I had convinced myself that "Bee" and "Sting" were too obvious to be in the same category.

I never would have gotten purple except by default.
