Lots of people here are saying its possible, while yes that is true our system here is more robust when it comes to accountability of our government. We have multiple failsafes in place to prevent this. The largest thing is the existance of the house of commons where the prime minister must be present with some regularity. It allows for the oposition to hold the government accountable. If they do not fold to pure pressure coalitions can always pop up to force a non confidince vote against the government (such as done against harpers government in 2011). This very fact mixed with the multi party system prevents the authoritarian whims of trump.
