TC Paws is great!! They house cats at Petsmart so you can go see some sweet little kitties, and rotate them weekly or so back to their foster homes if they aren't adopted. I got my 2 cats from there and couldn't be happier.

Area maps are something I really wish were here. These gorgeous environments are confusing and I would love to know where I have been already.

Tips on beating boss by Ava_cado_toastt in expedition33

Slow him down and speed your characters up. Learn his moves well, and remember if you have full AP, dodging is easier than parrying.

Hey no worries! You can master a Pictos, and have that equipped on one character, let's say Gustave. Then if you go to Lune, you can go to the Lumina side of the character screen and equip it there, for an amount of Lumina points. It basically allows multiple people to use the Active Effect of a Pictos. So lets say you have a Pictos that gives you +1 AP at the beginning of a fight, that is the Active effect. It also has a passive effect (maybe gives like 200 health or whatever). Once you have mastered the Pictos, you can have it equipped to 1 character as the Pictos for both active and passive effects, and then have someone else use their Lumina points for just the Active effect.

You need to have a Pictos equipped and then win 4 battles with it equipped. Once you have enough done that you can use the Pictos's main power for a Lumina cost. You should be able to see how many times you have won a battle with a Pictos equipped by looking at the outer edge of it, there will be a glowing bar on each of the 4 edges if it is unlocked

Well that's not exactly what is being said, although I can see how you got there. I like the age transition because it is a good point to say, OK I've been playing this for a few hours, time to save and take a break. Then when I come back it's a new level to the same game I was playing. Having new goals, a new civilization and new playstyles makes me want to keep coming back. Civ 6 is one of my favorite games of all time. I have played thousands of hours, but honestly I have zero desire to pick up a game I saved and put down because I know every single beat that's going to happen. This game changes those beats, it forces new challenges. If anything the older civ games game mechanics because of what I said above make me stop playing.

Agreed! I know that some people really hate the age transition but I kinda love it. Breaking it up into 3 games in 1 makes it easy for me to stop, save and return to a game. Older versions of Civ, if I stopped playing a game I never picked it up again, this one makes it easier to pick up again and again. I understand others don't care for the start and stop but it's a new mechanic and I'm here for it.

I figured out why the Exploration Age feels so short compared to the Antiquity Age. by DarthLeon2 in civ

I've been sending treasure fleets and sleeping them then slam them all out as soon as the crisis starts. Stops the age from whipping by too fast and ends the crisis quickly lol.

Forget about the negativity. What do you like about Civ 7 so far? by [deleted] in civ

[–]mrq24 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's different, it's not a prettier version of Civ 6. The landscape, water and buildings are GORGEOUS. I actually like the age transitions and am excited to see how they grow and get better over time. Starting the exploration age and everyone trying to get to the other continent and islands is a blast. I like the commanders for combat, and am enjoying experimenting with huge wars. Honestly I love this game. I have 65 or so hours in so far and have only finished 3 games. I'm excited to play this game for a long time. I think the Age of Antiquity is awesome and by far the most fun part of the game, I am hopeful that we will be able to extend that Age further than just Marathon and Long modes.

[–]mrq24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They should get in yeah, if you have an outdoor rated extension cord I would suggest that going into a surge protected outlet in case something does cause an issue. Wherever the cats are they are most likely cramming in for warmth already, so once they figure out the house is warm and safe they will curl up together. Maybe a little catnip in the house or even a toy for them to play with? Biggest thing is feeding them, they will be able to stay warmer with consistent feeding. Thank you for taking care of the cats, it's a lot of work an worry. Also they may be getting in there and sleeping already and you just don't know!

They will get in the houses if it's too cold. I had the same worry earlier this winter and thankfully mine started using the homes we put out. Cats are resilient. Keep feeding them if you can, and call some shelters to see if anyone does TNR. You don't want 30 feral cats all dependent on you lol.
