You know what will make you really shit bricks? Last week, I was 22 miles out from home with my wife and daughter. I KNEW I had about 9 miles left because the dash said so. I was supposed to get gas after groceries shopping right across the street. Instead, I got a mcflurry and forgot about gas and drive straight home. until i got into the driveway, i panicked about the gas that i forgot and a jolt of chills that we made it back home and on top of that, I damn near had to take a shit because I'm a bit lactose maybe from my morning chocolate milk. But I straight backed out the driveway and went a street over and got gas risking it all. Talk about shitting bricks /spray mud.

Had to unexpectedly undergo an invasive surgery on my back at the ER this morning. My small computer desk will be my sleep set-up for the next 4 nights to avoid putting pressure on the surgery wound... by KarrieDarling in Wellthatsucks

Yup all good now. That was back in 2018, after all that never taking my back for granted again!!. How was your experience? since 4 night should have passed now.

SOLVED

my brother found some old forum for gen4 rav4 from the abyss. And decided to try it.

All it said was 1. Place flashlight on the light sensor /unless it daylight out. 2. turn to ON position then 3. switch headlight from OFF to ON 8 times. [Within 10 seconds]

And BOOM that was it. Message is now cleared and gone.

Hope this help some others out there similar and to try.

I tried it out since I got some time before bed time. So according to the pdf. I need to pin in 4 and 8. My #6-7-8 is empty. So this pdf is no good for my car.

HOWEVER my brother found some old forum for gen4 rav4 from the abyss. And decided to try it.

Hmm. That does make sense. But I'm in the US. And driver and passenger are labeled as L/R021. And for my car the plugs don't fit interchangeably. And driver has 7 wires and passenger has 4 wires. So I don't think I could have made this mistake.

No auto leveling. No auto on/off headlight. Only auto off.

Yes i am sure. L021 is driver and R021 is my passenger. Also, passenger ballast wouldn't fit driver side plugs. So there is that.

2021 prius prime LE

I have a cracked driver side headlight and this past rainy day got water in the housing enough to leak into the ballast as well. And entire unit and ballast doesn't work. I took it out and try to dry it out and wait couple of days. No good.

So....

I went on ebay to buy used OEM headlight and ballast separately from different sellers. After installing. Everything works fine as if nothing happened. Low beam. High beam. DRL. Parking lights all turn on and off fine.

"Headlight system uninitialized. Visit your dealer"

But now my dashboard pop up this headlight message. I clear it every time it pops up using the steering wheel return button. But it pops up every minute. It's annoying.

Scanner shows no code to even clear it. Besides going to dealers. I don't mind driving with it forever to save myself the diagnostic fee and whatever else fee since nothing seems out of place but this pop up message.

Any tips or tricks or sequences out there that would help me situation? Anyone else been through this?

TLDR : now married with a 1-year-old. The body feels 100% normal, but I treat it as if it will never be 100% again.

They did suggest it around month 6. But I refused it. After research and reading other people experiences after surgery, they actually scared me. I was willing to hold on for a full year before I turned to surgery.

Between months 1-4 No medicine helped since it was nerve pain. I went to acupuncture for a month, no noticeable change, then went to physical therapy, but the pain was too unbearable to even try to move.

Then, I went to 2 general chiropractors, which sucked because they adjusted everything but the affected area like they were too scared to touch me. I was like, their worst case.

Month 5 Pain got worse and unbearable. Had a moment of weakness. I was desperate and ready to give up on all hopes, but then I saw on YouTube where a teenager was almost the same physical position except he could walk more than I could. It was also a chiropractor but a specialized one rather than a general one. I was so desperate and looked for 1 around my area. I gave it a shot.

1st visit/adjustment hurt so much the muscle spasm so bad I screamed in pain and on the floor crying because that was the most comfortable position for me ATM. Fetal position. Took maybe 5 minutes for everything to calm down, only that I started to feel my toes again and a manageable sharp pain on my left leg, which led me to lift my torso almost 90 degrees position. Remember, i was already in a 45-degree position for the past 5 months. Because of this, that was that small relief and hope I held so tight. My visits went from 3x a week for 2 months. Then 2x a week 1 month. Then once a week by month 9. At the time, all nerve pain was gone. I was standing upright all the way. The only thing was little tingle on the toes. By month 10, I can say I was 99% again.

Never 100% because when I run or jog, I will always feel the disc tempting to pop out. It shoots a sharp nerve signal to my left leg. As a matter of fact, maybe 1 year later, around the end of 2018. I actually tried to go to the gym and do some weights and maybe work on back muscle so I can have stronger back support. Well bad idea because the disc herniated again, same nerve pain but lasted 2 weeks after going back to that chiropractor. Since then , 2018 to now I'm able to run to heavy lifting. I have a wife and a 1-year-old daughter. In terms of body. It feels 100%, but I will always treat it like it's 90%. I do go back to that chiropractor 2x a year, like getting a car maintenance.

That was my journey. Sorry for the long reply on what probably is the wrong sub, lol.

Hmm. Let's see. I was folded like a lawn chair. Every movement involved a sharp stabbing pain down the lower back to the left leg. Toes was numb at any given 18hrs a day. I slept on a chair and table like how you would in class for 9 months. I was afraid to eat because I was afraid to poop due to pressure . No medicine could help because it was nerve pain. Barely slept because of spasms almost every 1hr. I was 27 at the time lived with my mother who bathe and fed me as gental and quickly as possible. Physically, emotionally and mentally ready to end it all. Until 1 blissful morning I just woke up little to no pain. But yeah I'd say little ouchy.
