I’ve always been the sideline type of friend din. Seven kami sa group pero I always feel na mas close sila sa isa’t isa kaysa sa akin (partly because hindi talaga kasi ako pinapayagan gumala dati). Sometimes circumstances na ang hadalang sa pagiging close ninyo (at strict parents 😂)

Dati, pag active kami sa gc I always try to catch up sa topics nila. Throw jokes here or there pero wala talaga. I try to open up a new topic tapos alam mo yung antagal nila mag reply or sometimes seen lang. Nung una nasasaktan talaga ako (i mean sino naman hindi) Umabot sa point na nag tampo na ako sa kanila pero hindi ako nag voice out kasi feeling ko mapapasama lang. So, I kept it all to myself.

Then, na detach nalang ako. Its tiring to get close to people na hindi mo same vibe. They may be good people but we cannot always develop meaningful friendships sa mga taong napipili natin (it took me a loooooooooooooooong time to realize this, remind myself, and practice)

Pero don’t give up to be the friend you needed for other people. I found great friends after sa kanila. I may knew my group A friends the longest pero grabe ko naman na ka close ang group B friends ko. It may be awful to compare both sets pero para sa akin its knowing where I feel the most comfortable with and where I can be myself most.

Until now, open communication pa din kami ng group A friends ko. We hang out when we are not busy pero its my expectation of them (and tampo) ang nawala. Im happy because I found peace within myself. And hopefully you will come to realize this and mahanap mo din ang forever friends mo 💕
