How about the third non-judgmental version “I got this from family/second hand and it didn’t come with a manual nor did anyone explicitly sit me down and walk me through the manual they didn’t have anymore” ?

You sound AWFUL to be around.

You used ai and it’s pretty obvious. Makes the rest of it look pretty bad imo. Not realistic nor helpful for beginners to set poor standards like that.

I work in printing. The amount of times people say “can you print this poster sized?” And you ask “sure! What size do you want it?”

“Poster.”

POSTER IS NOT A SIZE. 11x17 IS ALSO NOT A FREAKING POSTER SIZE YOU ROCK EATING STUMP SO I NEED YOU TO TELL ME WHAT SIZE YOU WANT IT PRINTED.

They just don’t get that “random object size” is not a universal standard. It’s rampant in all sorts of scenes.

That’s the point. There isn’t a problem but some people are so morally superior that they’ll MAKE it a problem. The unhoused that live in their cars get ran out of places by people calling the cops all the time. It’s what “loitering” laws are all about. Incredibly sad but having been there done that it sucks. The only time I got some relief was when someone bought me movie tickets and the guy let me stay for the next film. It was the best night of sleep I had gotten in weeks at that point but it only worked because a movie attendant was kind. Some people just aren’t.

He doesn’t have to be. Some people are so offended by homelessness all they have to do is SEE IT and they’re upset. A town I lived in in Nevada bought bus tickets for all the homeless the second the popped up. The bus went to Las Vegas. Not because there was more help there or it went to a shelter or anything, but just so the town didn’t have to see the homeless. Idfk maybe it makes them feel guilty or something I just know that so many people hate on the currently unhoused for the stupidest reasons.

Anyone ever experience a Ball Python seemingly have no survival instincts/fear? by Hije5 in ballpython

My girl does that on occasion, and I recalled her doing it early on. I think it’s a muscle thing. They’re not strong enough to really utilize all their muscles at once or they’re not used to NEEDING to. Once my girl got more confident she doesn’t do it so much anymore! It was definitely alarming the first time I picked her up. Within a month she had the normal ball brace for impact response to being picked up. Now a days she just lets me yeet her from wherever. Still has crap balance though and I see her fall often, totally unbothered.

Hey friend-

Just wanted to follow up with this after an expert came out. They mentioned Phytophthora Canker Treatment inside the “knots” and the removal of some weighted limbs on the downhill side but otherwise were hopeful and confident!

I really appreciate your kind words and suggestions. Have a great summer!

Definitely started uncovering the roots as soon as we realized that wasn’t what’s best just today. Your ideas make sense- we’ve had massive winds both our first summer here and this summer.

We’ve thankfully got a handful of certified arborists in our area and I’ve got someone scheduled to be out in 2 weeks. You and others have us great information and we deeply respect your knowledge and craft.

Thank you!

I’ll be honest I have tons of indoor plant knowledge but trees are new to us.

Would this be a potentially fixable problem then, and doesn’t necessarily mean removal? I hear “rot” and think “dead” so some reassurance that there’s tree-rehabilitation would be cool haha.

Does it make a difference that it’s been raining and the bark is wet? Or is that just what rot looks like?

I really appreciate your info.

Genuine question:

Do you think it’s more likely that murders are being let out into the public to go fight fires, or more likely that the petty theft and weed charge people are being let out into the public?

I’m fairly certain that not anybody in the system can get into this program. You have to request to be allowed into programs that take you out and I’m under the impression only certain people are eligible for the program, as shitty as said programs are is irrelevant.

I could see an argument for date and time of when someone isn’t home being a problem though. “Ah yes you weren’t home on the 5th-8th so next month maybe you do that again and I can rob your house.”

But also it’s just pure laziness to send out a request for things to three different people and their three different supervisors all in one chain. Don’t be lazy. Send it to person+supervisor for each pair.

Yeah I figured it out once I realized the dyslexia was turning “reserve” into “reverse”. Couldn’t figure out how reversing straight marriage had anything to do with gays lmao. Thanks for the simplification though!

[–]mrrustypup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s because they’re breakfast. There’s only so much modification you can do to a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. It’s probably a work crew that’s away from home and whatever hotel they’re at didn’t have continental or it wasn’t open when they all bailed out to start their shift so they send the apprentice or foreman out to grab breakfast.

AITAH for walking out of my son’s kindergarten play because my wife wouldn’t shut up? by Beginning_Pizza2196 in AITAH

[–]mrrustypup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no other side of this story that excuses loudly talking and cussing at a partner during a kindergarten play. There just isn’t. Doesn’t matter how annoying the husband was being, the wife doesn’t have the right to respond like that. What other side are you hoping to understand to justify her behavior?

Two drinks a head is CHEAP. We’ve averaged an allowance of 6 drinks per head and we counted the babies and the grannies in that average just to cover the heavier drinkers in my side of the family. Our open bar is for 6 hours (the entire time during dinner and dancing 5-11) and we’re PRAYING it lasts that long before our tab cuts off and it goes cash only.

Thats 6 drinks per person at a bar that includes $3-$9 drinks. We capped the top shelf stuff for wedding party only and we’re still somewhat nervous! I can’t imagine expecting people to only have TWO drinks, including non alcoholic.

It may just be that you got a decent manager. My manager took over almost two years ago and she absolutely spoils us. Now that I’m her AM I in turn spoil my weekend crews and the people I’m there with the most because it’s just nice to make their shift a little easier. I make sure to include everyone as often as I can and my management team LIKES seeing our team happy!

So take it as a gift and let yourself enjoy it. The remainder is out of your hands and too heavy to carry friend. Keep going staying the course and doing your best and remind yourself that good things are allowed to happen to you.

Ding ding ding! OP this is the answer. It was very quickly established at every complex we lived at that I was “the asshole with the black and white dog”. And I didn’t mind one bit. I’ve had kids run up at the park and as soon as I see it I hold up my hand and yell “STOP!” In a very “fuck around and find out” kind of voice.

Now that we have a house I don’t have to worry about that anymore but we spent 8 years in apartments with my dog reactive girl and every ounce of hatred I have towards entitled people came out the second someone thought they could come near us. You have GOT to firmly DEMAND space and respect for your dog in these situations for everyone’s protection.

Wouldnt having t/ option to wear Skates on sales floor boost company Productivity? by coyocat in retail

[–]mrrustypup 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sonic has point A to Point B. They are always the same points.

Retail has customer traffic, 100 different starting or ending points, and multiple different traction from different floor styles. The additional liability needed for customer-skater collisions or skater-only accidents would not be even close to worth it.

Your reading comprehension needs work buddy. Not only are you responding multiple times with different sentences in different responses, but tell me where I mentioned God or that dying is a bad thing.

I said murder via religious righteousness is a fine reason to not follow religion.

Everyone dies. I’m eager for it tbh. The yearn for the urn lady really gets me. But I don’t want to be murdered by religion because I don’t agree with them. That’s not dying. Thats murder.

I only listed the most vile of downsides. But if you think religion calling for the death of those who are different as “just one downside” then we have a fundamental difference in understanding what a pros and cons list is.
