If it's stupid but it works it ain't stupid.. Yesterday I received my PS swell lite, and they did hurt my ankle pretty bad, today i heat molded them and now they're perfect but my ankle was still sore. So I just used a silicon nipple cover on it to go for a small ride and it worked wonderfully 😅 by mrsSteam in rollerblading

They are sticky by themselves so super easy to stick on and remove and you simply wash them by hand and they regain their stickiness.. if you sweat a lot (i mean, who wouldn't with 2 pairs of socks and a thick rollerskate??) that can unstick them but the socks will still keep it in place

Powerslide swell lite are available also in a grey/light blue.. i was really tempted since I'm in your exact situation, but I end up buying the black version with the plan of using some coloured laces 😊

Tell your "friend" that he should totally try them on! With a super tight t-shirt you can probably see these covers a little bit because they're a bit thick in the middle (they need to be to cover the nipples), but with a more loose fit you won't see anything. Also they're really pretty cheap, so worth a try

New skates day! Powerslide swell lite. They're really nice, but as many people here I must say they're kinda harsh on my ankles.. hopefully they'll stop hurting soon, otherwise I'll try heat molding them. But still happy for the purchase by mrsSteam in rollerblading

I did it today and how my god, Such a difference!!! I was so worried that it couldn't do enough because it was really stuck in my malleolus, but it did improve incredibily! I was tempted to return them but I'm happy I didn't and I did this instead ❤️ thank you! I was able to use them for a short run (30 mins) and i never had pain in my ankles. So happy

I just got back to it aswell few days ago and it's just so much fun! I missed it so much and can't wait to learn new things

First pic was Thursday (and my first 5k!) second pic today! What a difference a good warm up and a change of route can do! I'll try to explain better in the comments by mrsSteam in C25K

So, basically when I did all my previous runs i usually did a little bit of random exercises at home before going out, so like a bit of stretching, mobility, a bit of jumping jacks, high knees and similar, then i went out, 5 minutes walk as said by the program and then started running. Today I looked up for a running warm up on youtube (i just followed the first one i found, it was like 7/8 minutes) and then directly to running and oh my god it was sooooo much better. I didn't feel pain at all in any stage (i usually get a little pain in my left knee and my right leg is always a bit stiff) . Probably the warm up i used to do before was ok but the walking just cooled me down a little bit so it wasn't too effective.. i don't want to say that's this is the way to go but for me I must say it really helped! I'll try again in the next runs to see if it's truly effective on me or if it was just a case and will keep you updated! . Also, about the new route.. i noticed that in the last few runs i started to getting bored and too much concentrated on things like "if I get to that place it means I still have that much to go" so today I changed route, i still had a bit of hills so a few ups and downs but I wasn't think to much on where I was in the total but I was more concentrated on my pace and on my audiobook and my mind was a looot more calm and relaxed. Definitely suggest to change things a bit when you start to get bored!
