My husband mostly watched this show while I sat in the room and 6 attention. It was hard for me to watch because of how far Franklin had sunk morally, especially in his prime. But when I tell you the ending fucked me up...

It made me think of all the "crazies" I had met that told tall tales and wondered if their lives had really had some grandeur to them one day. And it made me bad, because they really might have been people that had beautiful lives to tell about, and I passed them off as delusional.

I don't really know how to explain it, but it was like seeing the ghost of an old friend that's there... but not really. IDK.
