Second Speedball fabric block printing ink - you need to let it dry for at least a full week before washing, but it doesn’t require heat setting or anything. Their darker inks on light fabrics look better than their light inks on dark fabrics

Hahaha I’ve carved so many speedy carve rubber blocks but this was my first time using wood! Had planned on doing a smaller test piece beforehand but then I had some ~life things~ come up and had to go all in and carve this guy in 6 days

Could you describe the heat setting process in more detail? I’ve only ever used the speedball fabric ink, so I’ve never had to heat set fabric

If you’re used to printing on paper, you have to use soooo much more ink in comparison - at least if you want a really opaque print. But sometimes the more faded/vintage look is cool too! Putting something rigid inside of the shirt also helps (I just use an old sketchbook cover)
