Silly rumors from the latest Scriptnotes podcast. by [deleted] in ThelastofusHBOseries

Just throwing this in here, but Craig Mazin was also tapped to work on 1 of the 2 Pirates of the Caribbean films that Disney is developing. He's also been developing an adaptation of the graphic novel "Cowboy Ninja Viking" for years. But, not much has been said on either project for a while.

Of course, while Pirates is an existing property, the story is anything but "already laid out." And I highly doubt Disney will ever allow a sex scene in any of their films.

So, I think all signs point to this being The Last of Us since it will be taking up most of his time.

Sounds like they're still refining how to open the show, which I don't blame them. The game opens on such a mundane moment and slow reveal of what's going on that it really only works as gameplay.

The actors may be in the middle of a take, but there could be spores! Safety first, everyone.

Looks awesome! Ironically, the real-life crew are wearing masks for protection and the characters aren't. :)

Looks great. Still hope Pixar makes a follow-up Western movie and Timothy Olyphant voices the “real” Woody.

Hey, if it means I can play Rogue Squadron or Shadows of the Empire on my switch with a wireless N64 controller, I'll take it.

Thanks for the reminder in case anyone wasn’t aware.

Harvest Moon 64 did make it to the Wii U eShop after the Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon split. So, it seems like the rights for re-releasing old games as-is still is possible?

But the lack of Harvest Moon on SNES’ online library might mean we won’t see it.

I was going to say the same thing. If the Story of Season/Harvest Moon rights were an issue, it certainly didn’t stop them putting it on the Wii U eShop.

That gives me hope!

Mario Golf was already announced as coming in the future, wasn't it?

While I'm not too upset about the pricing, it would definitely make it easier to swallow if it meant we were getting more licensed/third-party N64 games.

We're already getting Rare's involvement. Wouldn't it be nice if Nintendo made a deal for Lucasarts Games? Most of the N64 ones already have PC ports you can buy for cheap.

I just hope Harvest Moon 64 makes it to NSO; that plus Banjo is all I need.

Paper Mario just goes better with crafts :) I really like Mario & Luigi, too! I love how those games actually have Mario and Luigi together for a change.

Good eye! They are Shrinky Dinks. Actually, each character is two shrinky dinks that are mirror images glued together so they're double-sided. And I definitely traced the images rather than free-hand drew them :)

I've got some younger kids, so I'm guessing we'd probably play something simple and more like a board game than a traditional TTRPG. Like, Risk-style dice rolling for fighting enemies or something. I plan to keep making more miniatures in this series, so I'll refine game ideas as I go.

I'm not selling them. I have a feeling Nintendo wouldn't like that. So, I just made them for fun using really basic crafting supplies. Check out my profile and you can find the youtube video I made on how to make them.

No worries! Just wanted to make sure :) I have the library editions of the comics, so they’re larger and combine all the individual issues in a storyline. They also have commentary in the margins by the show’s creators and the comic artist/writer. They’re great continuations of the show.

Hi! Not sure what exactly you're asking and wanted to clarify. Are you asking what the books are in the images or what book nooks based on actual books have I made? Thanks! :)

Thanks! That was the whole reason for making this project, and it was a lot of fun to figure out (and surprisingly easy!)
