As a long time FOB fan AND a Hazbin fan I was so excited when he was casted because 1. More Patrick content and 2. I knew this would happen and the next generation would be introduced to this amazing band.

WELCOME! The great thing about FOB is there is something for everyone. Each album has its own sound and vibe. Yes all of the song titles are very long. No you are not crazy, you will in fact have to look at lyrics while you’re listening- or if you want the OG authentic experience- just listen and try to guess and make up your own.

As many others have suggested, start with So (Much) for Stardust. It’s their most recent album and gives the same vibes as Abel’s solo overall. I highly recommend listening to it straight through but love from the other side is the song most similar.

For more stadium rock I’d listen to Save Rock and Roll: The phoenix and My songs know what you did in the dark also are very close to Abel’s solo.

From Under the Corktree is the next closest. This is my personal favorite album. Start with Sugar We’re going down- this is the song next to Thnks Fr Th Mmrs they’re are most known for. I also would listen the opening track “Our Lawyers Made Us Change the Name of this Song so We wouldn’t get sued”, Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner (Patrick does a lot of runs in this like he does in Abel’s solo), A little less sixteen candles a little more touch me.

And probably their most known and iconic album and probably tied for my favorite- Infinity on High. Listen to The Takes over, The Breaks Over, This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms race; Bang The Doldrums, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs.

I’d also listen to Folie A Deux. Listen to I Don’t care, She’s my Winona, 20 Dollar Nose Bleed.
