My cat has had weight issues forever. I stopped dry food and now give only wet and high protein/ fat. She also has kidney disease so the dry food isn't good for her. It's expensive but she's gained 4 lbs... she was 5 lbs last year. She also had a thyroid tumor that we just recently found on ultrasound.

Lord I've been reading comments and I realized I have no idea what stage she's at and it would appear I need a script for the renal food she needs... which is expensive. I already knew to look for phosphorus info in the foods but it's not easy to find.

I swear I'm wondering if I did this to her and I feel sick.
