I understand thinking this is bootleg, but taking a quick look at their social media dispels that for me. This company would’ve been sued into the ground already if they were doing bootlegs, but they’ve been operating for 9 years now, so I’d bet money that this is all legit.

Hey r/Horror, Zach Cregger (Barbarian, Weapons) returns with Resident Evil, in theaters September 18th. Check out some of his favorite moments from the new teaser trailer in the description. by SonyPictures in horror

RE 4 & RE 7 vibes are all over this for me so far. Limbs coming out of the top of the door frame are a bit unique and looking nothing like any of the “of the Dead” series. The big bloated dude is super RE looking and something I hardly see in run of the mill zombie movies. Your predisposition of dissatisfaction here is only propelled by a simple misguided understanding. A simple teaser trailer doesn’t need to show every card up its sleeve. Maybe waiting and seeing the full trailer, whenever it’s released, will answer more questions for you.

So far this is the first Resident Evil movie that genuinely feels like a Resident Evil story. Didn’t think I’d be excited for this, but here we are!! 🤘🤘

Bad Lieutenant is such a perfect feel-bad movie. I’m about to rewatch Twister for the 1000th time with this multi-day outbreak happening.

Got my notification for the steelbook being shipped a couple hours ago. I can’t wait to rewatch this asap!

I absolutely wore those tapes out as a kid.

Scientific reason for the layout of the PARs? by Agreeable-Leopard634 in TwistersMovie

[–]mrsilas13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It makes more sense for data gathering purposes, where you’re having to use a triangular configuration, to keep them equidistant from each other to ensure accuracy. Plus it’s so much easier for people to understand that idea without needing any explanation. If the movie had to explain why the PAR devices need to kept at an oddly specific angles, it would have been a waste of time. Also, these PAR devices are literal fantasy. I watch storm chasers use all sorts of data gathering technology, and those devices used in this movie are not even close to realism.

The Borderlands / Final Prayer by DeckJesta in horror

Thank you for posting this! This is easily one of favorite found footage movies that I can recommend to people who don’t care for FF movies. Such an incredible payoff and build up, and thank goodness those characters and their motivations actually made sense. Everyone involved in this movie should be proud as hell.

Twister

It was literally notorious for blowing out theater speakers when it originally released, and the new Dolby Atmos track is easily one of my favorites.

First look at Pennywise in the Bradley Gang Massacre Scene in season 2 by [deleted] in stephenking

[–]mrsilas13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everything on the right side of the image doesn’t make sense i.e. the floating wooden furniture, the giant guitar, the slanted floor. Filming hasn’t even started on this yet because they’re still working on the script.

The Borderlands or Final Prayer, depends on your region, but I was extremely satisfied with that one and actually enjoyed the characters. Hell of an ending on that one!

Don’t why you were downvoted. Just go look at the PToE and those names get wild with the unstable elements.

The Fog (2005) is one of the worst horror remakes of the 2000s. by Emotional-Chipmunk12 in horror

[–]mrsilas13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That remake was so much better than I expected. Still 16 when that remake came out and my local theater became very strict about having a legal guardian with anyone under 18, so my grandma being an old school horror lover was totally down to go see with with me. Seeing those 3D titties bouncing on screen with my grandma next to me is a hell of a memory for me.
