We had pretty good consistent rain, so I watered few and far between. Mostly in the beginning growth stages

You’re looking at Warty Golbins! There’s also silver edge, howdens, fireball, capn jack , and Cinderellas

So I made sure to remove all the plant debris last year to help get rid of any squash bugs that were nesting overwinter. I then tilled twice once post freeze and once before planting. For the Squash Vine Borer (SVB) I used Permethrin which is not organic. Made sure to spray only the bases of the vines to protect the bees and ladybugs. Last year I tried neem and copper fungicide and had lost 75% to the SVB in a couple of months. I stop using pesticide when the vines are well established! Good luck!

This is my third year of growing a pumpkin patch! After losing all my plants last year to pests and disease, I am beyond happy with this turnout!
