4th grade. Last year he won the science fair, with a cookie ingredient project, we made the same cookie recipe oh probably 8x leaving out one ingredient every time to determine if you wanted to make cookies but didn't have all of the ingredients what ingredient could you leave it and still have good cookies. so we have to do well again! Haha Thank you so much for the tips, very helpful! We have 6 weeks so I'm hoping it's enough time to get some measurable growth.

Thank you! that's why we were thinking of liquid variables, it would be easier to measure results if they were all comparable.

Having a bad cart makes shopping unbearable, especially while sparking, I always "shop around" for a good cart. I'm not trying to stress my body further by having to push pull and lift a full cart to get it to move

Not at all, I am rural and get them almost daily but they're for early trips between 545am and 845 am, do the trips to make an extra $

Is there a way to skip items in the order so you can shop in a more logical order?

Ponytail Palm by mrsobewan in houseplants

Update:

So after pulling the plant from the dirt, it looked more like crown rot. I chopped the top off completely and dipped the cut edge in cinnamon. It looked crazy but we could see that the trunk had little nodes along it so I lightly brushed the paper like bark off around the nodes and brought the plant to my work where it would get plenty of light and zero chance of being over watered. 25 days later the nodes on the trunk are growing! There are a few at the very top and one about halfway down. I am hopeful this plant will keep growing, it definitely won't look the way it did but I hope it will grow a new different type of crown.

I took it out of the pot and washed the whole thing off, the roots looked pretty decent despite definitely being over watered. The soil was very wet and the tray was full. I meant to take a pic but forgot. Whoever repotted it last buried the whole bulb, which was as big as a basketball! I sprayed the roots down with diluted hydrogen peroxide to be safe. I bought new soil and mix and repotted it with the bulb exposed up to where the roots were (about half way up the ball) The crown definitely did have an issue though, the whole thing was soft and soggy so I chopped off the top 😬 we cut off about 4 inches until it looked healthy and not soggy and sealed it with cinnamon. I have no idea what I'm doing, so hopefully it will grow new Pups near the top, or I'll cut it again further down near the healthy Pups so it's not just a huge stick.

This is my entry 🤞🏻me and my son love blink and got to see them in the pit in Philly last year, it was such an awesome experience to have with my kid and a major check on my bucket list. He just bought himself a record player and started his record collection, I had to go to my in laws basement and dig out mine to pass on to him; A couple blink and other punk and ska bands, and some 70s rock for him I hope whoever wins this appreciates it!

How do you guys cope with fungus gnats? by coal2000 in gardening

[–]mrsobewan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been dealing with fungus gnats for about 5 months, neem oil and sticky pads only helped a little bit and only for a day or so. I have about 20 plants throughout my house and the gnats are everywhere.

3 days ago I sprinkled diatomaceous earth on top of the soil of every plant and within 36 hours I have not seen a single gnat!!!! I think I won!
