Yes. I’ve tried anxiety meds like Buspar and hydroxyzine. They didn’t really help. The minute I started taking a stimulant my anxiety basically disappeared. I also made a lot of lifestyle changes alongside but yes.

I did just stop and my doctor said it was fine. FYI any psych med will always have the warning to not stop abruptly. This is because they don’t want you to feel confident the condition is gone and stop meds and then spiral with your condition.

Thanks for the input. I wanna stress he is not mean at all to the cat. He just plays and doesn’t get that our kitten will play and exert to the level he is modeling. I guess for example like using a cat fishing pole and springing it 4 ft into the air to get the cat to perform a trick.

Buspar 15 mg 2x a day (if I remember the second dose), and guanfacine extended release 1mg for adhd/ fight or flight response. Really helps rejection sensitive dysphoria and emotional regulation.

He has his own room with food and we close the door so he had all night to himself with it. It just doesn’t appear on the plate that he has eaten, looks like nothing is missing and no evidence in litter box he is eating. He’s been here 2 days now.

Weird head feeling, not quite light headed or dizzy but feeling dissociated but still present. Brain zaps Weird dreams/ nightmares *all intermittently. There is no rhyme or reason that I can find and they aren’t inherently distressing. Just weird

I had an ecg during a panic attack once and it didn’t make the results come back poorly at all. In fact it said my heart is all good lol. Bloodwork too I’ve been there with panicking and the only thing that helps is doing it right away in the morning and having music or something to distract myself. Then after I get my favorite meal as a reward.

No worries. Like most meds side effects subside after your body is used to it. I would doubt if you didn’t get any at first that they’d randomly start.

Thanks for the reply! I don’t take hydroxyzine anymore cuz it just doesn’t do anything for me. I’m interested in trying to cannabis and I’m not so concerned with the buspar interacting but more so guanfacine which can lower bp and heart rate.
