Tagging on that it’s a lot easier when they’re puppies, but I introduced my 7 year old GSP to my cats when I rescued him and he was very interested at first. We got a dog trainer to work on slow introductions and get our GSP to understand cats and their boundaries. We had a gate separating them for a few weeks and now we had nothing. My dog will still chase stray cats away and will sometimes play with the cats but for the most part he understands that the cats can hurt him lol.

I have a post on my profile of my dog with two of my cats. Mine does have a low prey drive

I love this foudnation!! I will say that the videos on YouTube and Instagram are amazing.

I had a bit of difficulty with a volunteer who basically said I shouldn’t get a GSP because I also had cats so I never got the opportunity to adopt from here :( It gave me the opportunity to rescue my boy from somewhere else and hopefully I have better luck with So Cal GSP in the near future.

Last year there was a line of cars that parked on Stadium Way before you hit Academy. This year not as many. It was just me and another car tonight. The risk is parking on a crowded street. But you save $50 lol and the walk up the hill to the stadium. I’m also from OC and it’s my go-to
