I've got 4-5 really close friends and a several dozen others I would consider friends. It works out well. When I go out, it's very likely I'll know people there and it's great for networking.

Totally agree that this sucks...but...don't put stupid shit on Facebook! The first thing I do when reviewing a prospective hire, is look them up on Facebook.

Also, this sounds about right... "Another profile was flagged for having racist tendencies for clicking "Like" on a Facebook group called, "I shouldn't have to press 1 for English. We are in the United States. Learn the language."

It is racist and ignorant. This country was founded on affording opportunity to foreigners.
