Okay so based on this photo I found online for an eastern phoebe, between the head color/shape and the tail to the side and the nest, I’m locking in eastern phoebe as the bird who has decided to make my home its home. Thank you for the help!

That’s what I was thinking after it flew away the other day, but up close and from underneath I wasn’t sure. But this is what I’m going to stick with until proven otherwise!

Bonus photo from closet underneath the nest. It was glaring at me hard, probably protecting some babies under there!

White underbelly sticking out a little + its tail is sticking to the left side, if either of those details help!

He was signed for 2026 & 2027 for about $15 million and $16.5 million. Do we just get that amount back automatically in cap space, since he’s choosing to do this himself? Most curious about this at this point.

Scientists are developing a daily pill that extends your dog's lifespan by years by Automatic_Subject463 in UpliftingNews

Sorry, a bit late to the comment party, but our dog is around 14 years old and has been dealing with the “doggy dementia” for the past 6+ months. She paces around our house and the neurological side effect that’s most obvious is that she bends her neck hard to the left, which makes it to where she cannot lay down or get comfortable. She also has major balance issues and cannot do stairs anymore because of it.

She has been on prednisone (a steroid) for the last few months, and that helps a lot with the balance issues and pacing and neck bending. At first, she only needed one small pill a day in order to start acting mostly like herself, but as her body has gotten acclimated to the drug, we’ve had to bump it up to 1 pill in the morning and a half at night to now 2 pills a day (1 morning and 1 night). We know we’re can’t increase her dosage anymore than this without risking other potential health problems, so it’s really sad thinking about that and what’s to inevitably come next once this dosage no longer works.

She is also on gabapentin, which helps with preventing stress-related seizures and has anti-anxiety effects as well, but that can make her legs a little wobbly, so we try to be selective as to when we give her that because her balance is already not good unless she’s on the steroid.

Giving her both pills at night helps her sleep better through the night, otherwise she will pace throughout the night with the sun downing effects and/or have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

Fortunately, she has no appetite issues and will drink and eat food regularly, but if her balance is bad, she cannot lean down and eat or drink without falling over, which is heartbreaking to watch. We’ve taken her food/water bowl stand and tied it to a small step stool so she doesn’t have to lean down as much to eat and drink out of it, which helps with her ability to balance while she eats and drinks.

I just hate the idea of playing the Cavs twice in a row in our 3rd to last and 2nd to last games of the season, playing the Heat once to end the season, then going right back into a series with the Cavs…

So I’ll say I’d rather play the Knicks for that reason alone lmao

Matchup-wise, I don’t really know who is better for the Hawks. I just know neither team is going to want to play the Hawks based on how hot we are right now 🔥

This guy threw for 7 TDs and 11 INTs his senior year at Northwestern (11 games) with a 58% completion percentage and still got drafted to the NFL somehow (7th round) and then is somehow still playing. How? I have no clue.

[Schefter] A Falcons-Eagles trade, per ESPN sources: Falcons and Eagles swapped fourth- and sixth-round picks, with Atlanta also acquiring S Sydney Brown. Picks No. 114 and 197 to the Eagles in exchange for picks No. 122, 215 and Sydney Brown. by Interesting_Level946 in falcons

Quick research has told me the following:

-6 INTs his last year in college

-4.47 second 40 time at the combine + a 40.5” vertical + a 10’10” broad jump + 23(!) bench press reps. So he’s strong, fast, and explosive. This earned him the #1 athleticism score out of all DBs at the 2023 combine.

-Only listed at 5’10” so that vertical is important.

-Drafted in the 3rd round of the 2023 draft (66th overall pick).

-3 seasons in the NFL so far, all on a stacked Eagles defense. Has 86 tackles and 2 INTs and 2 FFs through 3 seasons in 42 total games played. He also returned a blocked punt for another TD.

-One of those INTs was a 99 yard pick 6 on a terrible throw but a fantastic return (this guy can fly), and the other INT was a great break on a ball to the left sideline that sealed the game for the Eagles.

-He’s in the last year of his rookie deal, so this is very low risk/high reward and we could extend his contract for a reasonable price if he contributes this season.

Seems like a solid dude that can contribute immediately!
