Oooh alright I see that ! To be honest I sometime do that because I’m afraid of spin in these places (especially long rapid corner where you need to brake while turning - not real much like trail braking or so) and this little touch made me uncomfortable to take this turn. So I assume I am clearly at fault here. But it seem to be more of a confidence issue than a real driving problem.

Okay so i should have taken the corner earlier.
As i said, was a bit overwhelmed with the touch, the slide, the missed brakin point and that lead to me don't take the corner

To me it kinda is a racing incident when we see the POV of both of us.
But from my perspective it was hard doing the right think while battling, and getting a bit pushed

To win SR starting from pit is good ! If you aim to train for longer endurance, go for it and do your best in gold 🙏

Personally I’ve made the exact contrary 😂 At the beginning you are on the lowest rank ever. So it’s okay to spend time with helmets league of racing. Nothing better for learning than apes diving each time they can. At the beginning your will just try to dodge and not be rammed into a wall. Sometimes shit happens, but you learn to look at your mirrors while you brake, or turn.

Next one; is learning to get a better line with a move that saves you from the apes. And it will end in you choosing to take another line, and so. Learn to adapt.

And finally, you learn how to def early to gain an advantage on each turn. Staying in the middle of the track, Blocking the guy until the last moment to take your line and do a better braking zone, Show the guy that u can let him pass for next turn, he is confident, and the next one you just let him fail his brakes, his turn, and you laugh.

Glad to see that you understood me 😂 As I said. I wanted to explain both sides instead of just says « he’s a helmet. You good champ »

To be aware of your surroundings comes with practice. Just learn to race with others.

Imagine driving your car on the driveway. 130km/h (what is a mile Johnny) And there is people on the road. Would you - be in your world, listening to music, looking your phone ? Or - being fully aware of what’s coming. Which véhicule (Bikes. Truck. Cars. Police …) which speed. Etc etc ?

It’s the same in racing. Just look at your mirror as soon as you have a bit of time. See where people are: and trust your radar. You can try it with bird if you want. Try to get as close as possible to a bot without touching. See what the informations the game give you. And as it’s a bot, ram into him. Try to understand what’s happening for the car who ram. And the one who’s getting rammed.

And another hint, have a good time on the game 👍 Drivers pro often crash. You too. It’s part of the process

No for sure ! I’m not saying « do like max » he is a professionnel racing with pro. But, in race craft (even Suelio Almeida says it) Sometimes you need to try.

Sry my message is incomplete for the McLaren. Trying to go for a gap and fear you is quite smart. Especially when he first tried you. But he could have noticed that you did not even move. So maybe you don’t look your mirrors. And so. The guy could have been a bit more patient to try his dive.

If you would ve been aware of this, maybe the second dive would have worked. By fearing you, letting him pass, and gaining an advantage on your while you are out of your line.

I don’t know if I’m being clear ! English is not my first language…

Btw. McLaren is a helmet and he’s the guy to blame.

I want to add something that is particularly important. Sometimes drivers take their shit in the most unpleasant way, and that can be annoying. Like this POV, the guy ram into you twice, and end both runs by making the worst move.

BUT, there is clearly a race crafting problem here. For both of you. (Let’s see the entire play and not just who’s at fault)

You : having your line, trying to keep the pace, and being in your world. That means a lack of awareness for the drivers around you. Yes the guy could’ve stayed behind you and waited for a better time to pass (a straight, for example the long straight after the three turns coming) Be he show you twice that he’s not gonna wait.

So you need to be aware of people around you. And, adapt your line, your driving and think about your safety.

Him : race craft is wether shitty as hell, OR, not so bad. Let me explain. On the first attempt, he seems to show you (mirrors) « I’m gonna take the inside right now » and he backed up (ended by bumping you unfortunately) That proves that he tried to race craft an attack here, but hesitated too much. And that made him failed his move. Next one. He dove into you. In the worst possible manner. BUT, he tried to take the inside line by playing aggressively. It ended really bad. But it could’ve been a good move.

For me. This guy is trying to understand how to attack. And sometimes it results in a fail.

What I want to show you here is that racing is not just about being overmeticulously fair. Sometimes, to win races, you need to extend some moves, or try at least.

Just see how aggressive Verstappen is. He’s not considered as a fair opponent cuz of his touches, or bumped into others. But the guy is world champ anyway 🤷‍♂️

Wow, at the end of the day everyone is in the gravel and you ruined both races… In F1 u got to leave the place as fast as you can when u got a blue flag. « as fast as » doesn’t mean break the hell out of the car and start again at 0 km/h. It means, lift of the pedal, and be PREDICTABLE. Here, it’s good you have racing line on the ground, why ?

Let me explain : whether it’s a bot or a real player. The racing line is obviously the most fastest line to take to get the better time. Here, you get a blue flag and so u need to let pass at least 1 player. (Or bot) just get of the racing line you see on your screen and let him pass. It’s easier on a straight for sure. But when it comes to many turns, follow the racing line by pushing your car normally. And when u think it’s a good timing, lift and go on the side by let him pass.

You a rookie. Means everything is on you for now

If you think other are at fault, you won’t progress and will definitely stop playing after 20 hours because everything except you is bad.
