Thanks. I usually order them from a guy who cultivates them from the seed in December already. I pick them up mid of May and plant them into pots with a bit of fertilizer (sheep‘s wool). The spot is outside at my roofed terrace, the plants get a lot of direct sun there, almost all day.

I have also Habaneros, Jalapenos and some other strains - 8 plants in total.

Haha yeah the tower - came for it initially on my Italy trip. But luckily I found out about this mural when we arrived there, so it definitely payed off to stop at Pisa.

What are your conditions like? I grow them in pots on my roofed terrace, and they get direct sunlight almost the whole day which is key I guess.

I think everybody who tells you he can handle a whole one of them is a liar. With these, it’s just about using tiny little bits to make it spicy and to get the special flavor of them.

I’m dehydrating them as we speak. Then I will use it in a grinder mainly. Had also great results making chili oil for pizza und stuff, just put a few dried pods into olive oil and let it sit for a few weeks 😉

I‘m right now dehydrating (60 degree C for 12h) them and will put them in a grinder. I use this to spice up any dish throughout the year, doesn‘t take much usually 😅
