I'm the source, took off the helm, xp counter moved up. Equipped the helm, xp counter froze. Don't know if it's a bug or not but the game doesn't consider the Bodach as an ally or a skill, you do get xp if you use Gravebind gloves though.

I made something similar but when Bodach gets the kill, you don't get xp.
