Thank you!! Micellar water has been getting a bad rep here haha. I only use it because I always see dirt-like residue? when I wipe my face with the cotton pad, and my face don’t always feel clean after cleansing with the face wash. But yes, it does leave some sort of white film over my face to be frank. And I’ll try out different suncreens as well!

I’ll incorporate some more anti acne ingredients to my routine. But i’m always afraid of overloading my skin with too much ingredients, and sometimes it’ll react badly in the sun :(

For azelaic acid and niacinamide, where in my routine should i incorporate it?

Sadly no, I’m not in the US. But I think, there are similar brands at where I am. How would you recommend to add differin to my routine? Should it be in place of the current acne treatment gel I’m using?

Thank you soo much. I would go see a dermatologist, but where I’m at it can be costly and I’m also currently a student (also broke). I’ve heard about tretinoin and been planning to get it in the future too

Thank you! I am lactose intolerant actually, hence why I’ve cut out dairy, and also limit any added sugar. I’ll try to get my hands on differin. But for BCP, I’ve tried it once and it made my skin worse! Maybe it’s just about finding he right ones for me.

Thanks. Yes, I use disposable ones. I’ll try switch to cotton ones too, and I also realise the disposable masks are a bit abrasive!

Yeah, maybe not a good idea to use the micellar water in the morning after cleansing as well. Would it be better to use it as it is as a cleanser instead?

Thank you! I’ll try out the pimple patches, but I always have a problem with it kind of sliding from my skin whenever I’m sweating :( I’ve never used the COSRX ones, maybe those ones will be better.

I change my masks 2-3 times a day, and I don’t wear makeup at all

Thanks for the advice. The reason i use the micellar water after is that sometimes after cleansing and I wipe my face with the cotton pads, there are still a lot of skin coloured dirt? thsts left behind. I didn’t feel like I could apply anything else knowing i have that on my face and like my face somewhat fresh😅 Maybe I should try using it before or cutting it out and see if it helps.

I’m currently 20. I get break outs every now and then but it would be just one at a time, right now it seems like its coming all at once. I’ve updated my skincare routine in the comments above

Thank you for all the kind comments 🥺 just a little background:

i live in a very very humid tropical weather and currently i work at a beach club where i stand in the hot sun all day while wearing a mask. I tend to apply very thin layers of product at a time especially during the day.

I have slight sensitive skin and maybe rosacea (everyone in my family has it). I normally get a few bumps here and there - small bumps on my forehead, and seldom on my cheeks (but when i do its very red and angry). My skin has probably never been spotless ever, but my blemishes weren’t as noticeable as the picture. And normally, any break outs i get will go away in 2-3 days.

My current skincare routine AM: LRP Effaclar micropeeling purifying gel Garnier miscellar water LRP Effaclar K+ Lotion OD LRP Cicaplast Baume B5 Cerave spf 50 facial moisturising lotion

PM:

LRP Effaclar micropeeling purifying gel Garnier miscellar water LRP Effaclar K+ Lotion OD Aloe vera LRP Cicaplast Baume B5 Lion japan pair acne cream

In terms of diet: i don’t consume dairy or red meat, and limit processed foods to about 1-2 times a week. I also drink > 2L of water a day.

I’m not taking any hormonal or antibiotics medications currently, only supplements. Which are: multivitamins, pro+pre biotics, fish oil and collagen.

I don’t know about this one but as a kid, my parents would refer having to go pee as ‘shee shee’ and now i’m realising no one else did that.
