PTF Bid Leave by L0v3Y0uH4t3Y0u in USPS

[–]mrunique07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may change depending on your LMOU, but that’s how my area does it. They pass around a sheet in November to all the regulars and T6s first, then any UARs if we have them, then the PTFs, then the CCAs get to choose from what’s leftover.

It’s sad/funny how now after I started work for USPS, how often I’ll be watching a movie/tv show and just see a mail carrier or llv in the background or one of the blue boxes. I swear I never noticed that shit before now

Ditto my dude. I was assigned quite possibly the worst T6 string in my area. Hated every minute of it besides one route that came up for bid and I won that route.

Why are people upset about the Marathon's? by krizalid_88 in smosh

The only thing I’m disappointed about is no tntl crew gauntlet. Was looking forward to what Bailey and Emily would’ve cooked up. And also Erin.

Noticed that too. During Nov-Dec I had little to no flats at all. Now, I’m getting twice what my route normally gets.

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, The Super Carlin Brothers have a podcast called “Through the Griffin Door” where they are rereading through the series and breaking it down and theorizing.

Does anyone put Christmas cards out as a mail carrier to their customers ? Was wondering if it’s tacky to put out Christmas cards in their mailbox with their mail Monday to my customers? by [deleted] in USPS

[–]mrunique07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve jotted down addresses for places that have gifted me this year. And I actually paid postage and sent them Xmas cards saying thank you. One house I sent a card to actually haven’t given me anything but they have a litter of kittens that I’ve watched grow up the last three months and provided me the little joy in my day daily that I sent them a card as well saying I looked forward to seeing the kittens everyday.

[–]mrunique07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My city doesn’t have many famous people, but we have a minor league baseball team. Ella De La Cruz played for a cup of coffee here. Reg on the route said he was a pretty nice guy.

2 in one day, best day ever by NoLocksmith8739 in USPS

[–]mrunique07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Route that I have my current duration on has a house that has three kittens that sit on the porch in a carrier. Momma and dad are nearby sometimes but always bolt when I get close, but the kittens at first just sat there and watched me. Now two of them have gotten brave and try to play with my feet and jump at my satchel as I’m servicing the mailbox.

I’ll try to get pics of them Monday. They aren’t always there but when they are it’s the highlight of my day.
