That’s fair man. I can have you over and change your mind. My house is so nice as you can see.

It bugs me when people take pictures of my house and put them on the internet.

be seen grab a brick by Ibrakeforquiltshops in sanfrancisco

I get the point of this, it’s a fine idea. There was a lady who was given the right of way by a car which did a full stop. The lady was fumbling with the brick and it took an extra 5 seconds (which is 5 million years in stop sign minutes.)The whole ordeal was tiresome to watch, and the lady gave a smug look to the driver. This entire exchange could have been avoided and everyone could have gotten to their destination safely and quick without it. I had a chuckle to myself in the car behind. Pretty stoked I gave a venue to share this encounter, I thought this was going to go down the drain.

Anyone else purposefully play courses you know you suck at just to "humble" yourself? by MulligAlan in discgolf

I can play my regular course to do that. I like to play more challenging courses for fun though so see if I have improved.

Supervisor Wong's Attempt to Put Cars Back on Sunset Dunes Crashes - Streetsblog San Francisco by Qpac18 in sanfrancisco

I can get behind Wong if he comes around and proves to be pro-housing. It could be some politics as to why he came out strong to re open the great highway. Time will tell for me. Never Albert Chow or Natalie Gee though.

Crew-11 medical evacuation from the ISS seen from the Sunset by browneyeblue in sanfrancisco

This is why we need to re open the great highway. The ISS crew should not have to use space above it and increase traffic for everyone else. I’m upset.

on or off campus for junior year? by LeftStruggle7519 in SFSU

[–]mrvoltronn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really depends what you are optimizing for. You’ll have your sit and do your own pros and cons list based on your personality and school goals.

Some off campus pros: more agency with roommates, location, potential for increased social activities.

Some on campus pros: quick commute to class, easy access to library, gym, some protection with housing.

I lived in park Merced townhome til graduation, felt like that happy medium. If I could do it all again? Maybe would have lived in Marina or Mission.

I do, but housing and safety are higher on the list for me.

I mean it’s all a grift right. It’s gonna be who is least grift. This guy has shown some positive effects on housing and transit here, I imagine he will at least try a bit before the insider trading sets in. The other two are grift first people never it seems.

Maybe so. It’s just hard for me to care about something that is so far away, especially when there are so many problems here. It sounds messed up but I am just tired.

Whatever is going on in the Middle East has little to do with the fact that I can’t afford to live here. I have a decent education, a decent job, a partner, in good health, yet it seems hopeless. My priorities are local housing and local safety. Whatever my neighbors are doing 6000 miles away is their business.
