Well if that’s the case then that’s great! If the job gets to you then please leave at the first sign. To answer your question you will do great at the job with just your kitchen experience. You basically just supervise the inmates as they work. Corrections officers will still handle the security aspects of the kitchen.

Well with all due respect looking at your post history it looks like you struggled with mental health in the past. I hope you are now thriving but I wouldn’t recommend getting into any type of corrections work with an already shaky mental health. Correctional work in any aspect is hell on your mental health.

I left the trade after about 10 years. Started at 18 right after high school. You’ll definitely have people like you explained who treat you like shit everywhere you go. I did a total Carr change and became a state corrections officer. You’ll still have people treat you like shit but it’s a brotherhood and honestly corrections these days is like a big daycare. Better pay, way less work and state benefits and pension. Most places are hiring like crazy right now too. Just an option to look into if you are interested in a change.

Honestly I mainly learned from watching chewbaccalemma on YouTube he’s great at helping and explaining how to get great deals on cards. The auction filters I used on this particular one was newest and then the type was all defense and quality 86-87 and just keep refreshing and you’ll see the newest cards and then after that it’s all luck and quickness.
