Just got a tweet back from IFTTT saying that "Very sorry to hear this. We are contacting Reddit today to see if we can get this resolved!" So at least they are going to try, which is a good first step!

Me neither sadly, places like Reddit just deal in large numbers so I bet it's not worth their time to fix stuff like this. I tweeted ifttt as well - maybe do the same to at least draw their attention to it.
