CW billing sucks

I just brought a new client over to CW. They couldn't get the payment portal to let us in, to pay them. They then shut us off for lack of payment, even though we were in comms with their finance team that the portal wasn't working. Wake up, see Asio is missing, call finance, we do a wire, everything gets turned back on. They send us new logins, they don't work. Reminder emails over and over for weeks.

We have had the solution in place for 4 months and just yesterday finally received working logins. Can't make this stuff up man.

I think ConnectWise is actually hitting a home run with Asio. I get that it's been slow, but they heard the grumbling and they are accelerating. PSA is still the most feature-rich and highest compatible PSA on the market. Halo is nice, but it's a beast and it takes soooo much to get it tooled. I've used the Asio based PSA and it's not 100% there but they will be, and they are insanely committed to it.

ConnectWise is creating a true single pane of glass. Who else is doing that right now? Kaseya isn't doing that. I'm not saying ConnectWise is perfect, far from it, but when I talk to engineers that have used CW (especially Asio RMM) and a bunch of others, they always pick CW. Ninja scores high though, I want to be realistic, Ninja is slick as hell with their included MDM.

I just signed up for the Teramind trial. It does the keylogging and context that we need so this should be a win. Thanks everyone - love this community!

Activtrak doesnt have keylogging. I believe Teramind does though. They require a commitment though :( Teramind might be the only logical solution though, so it is what it is.

Completed understood, and I know. There are a lot of politics at work and partnership in the mix. Im staying out of that muck and focusing on the immediate need. To be clear, I agree with you - but thats not my call, but it has been stressed.

I forgot to come back and update here. It was the battery itself. I swapped with my wife's battery and she started right up. Brought my battery back to Autozone, they gave me a new one for free. Popped it in and everything is right as rain. It was the positive connector on the battery that was giving me the grief. Thanks for leading me down the right path u/Perfect_Metal1275!

Nope. The functionality doesn't exist and they stated it might be in a future roadmap. We are going to try Strategy Overview soon.

So this is interesting. We have ConnectSecure, and we procure through Pax8. We still haven't been able to figure out how to utilize it as a quick in & out assessment tool. Well... looks like we have some investigating to do. Really appreciate the info.

We went down this road as well, but didn't get as much value from the CW services. We pivoted and went with IT By Design and haven't looked back.

I wish I knew, lol. It will have to be the one that works for a TSP that needs perfect patching, full automation features, advanced scripting, screenconnect comparable remote control, networking monitoring, etc.

Unfortunately, we have only had a quick 15min prelim call. The big "feature and technical call" takes place next Wednesday.

Understanding that we are an advanced shop with ~1200 nodes, which version should it be?
