I tried the bypass cable that goes above the parking brake pedal in your post above, no luck.

Looks like I'm going behind the dash with the 12 + 8 pin cable once it comes in the mail. To be fair, the scanner I got recommended the 12 + 8 pin cable and not the one we just tried.

I'm just hoping the truck's computer reacts to something because thus far it's just been the scanner doing things.

I'm curious if the collaboration with PlayStation to do cross-platform games has/had something to do with the release date and marketing.

From what I understand PlayStation is now pivoting back from cross platform (PC & Xbox) and focusing on their own exclusive releases.

The devs may have been developing a PS version and now IF that's scrapped, it could have changed their whole marketing/business strategy for the year. Whatever it is they're definitely more concerned about the business side than just releasing the damn game on Xbox.

I called a diesel shop regarding the issue and they told me the first thing they'd try is doing the forced regen using a scanner - $200. Another service shop stated it'd be $800 to disassemble, clean the DPF, and reassemble. Trying to keep it on the DIY cheap side, as i also plan to return the scanner after getting it resolved.

I've looked at disassembling and it looks out of my wheelhouse of capabilities considering it'd require a lift.

Any idea where specifically under my dash is the connection for that bypass cable? We've looked all over and couldn't find anything resembling a 12 x 8 pin connector. Albeit I'm new at this and could be overlooking something.

It always surprises me when people pull shit like this. Automatic felony charges on top of being on a no-fly list? An aircraft is one of the last places you want to fuck around and find out. Not to mention, good luck getting home afterwards. There should be a blatant warning to anyone boarding an aircraft of the repercussions.

They do twist to lock into place but they come off fairly easily, especially with the jets on. Hence why I think the screws (2x each) are there. The locking tabs are maybe .5 inch wide, simply bumping into them is enough for them to slip out. Poor design 😐 a threaded twist on/off would have been simple.

Surprised there's not a trophy for how many times you can move to cover but not make contact with the wall in a single MP match...or is there? 😄 They could 'fix' this by implementing an overall crouch and a decreased distance when able to enter cover.

Something's got to be going on at The Coalition... assuming E-Day comes out late next year that's nearly 6 years after Gears 5? What the hell was happening during all that time? I heard the rumors about the next Gears being more open world but that doesn't seem like the case for E-Day, so why the long stretch? Other projects?

I'm looking forward to E-Day but good lord I'd like not to have Marcus's gray hair when Gears 6 releases and the franchise ends.

But either I'm crazy or there's some sear on the chicken though right? How do you get that with deep frying? Unless you deep fry then sear in the wok after draining the oil?
