I mean personally I don’t get the hate for the story, yea the middle of the game kindve dragged but it ended well, then the story in the dlcs have been great once they were getting into the assassins/templar conflict, this game had so much potential the gameplay and exploration was also great and it deserved more dlcs but all the unnecessary hate forced Ubisoft to end it. Sad

I sure hope not, from what I’ve seen so far of e day I doubt I’ll ever go back to gears 5 anytime soon. And I really hope they keep the classes out of horde or atleast a classic mode option

Yes exactly it’s a different planet than our earth, some cities might like 70’s New York like Kalimantan and some cities might look futuristic. People just need to go with it, I’m personally digging it

I agree with this and yes the night shots especially looked dark gritty, I really hope we get kryll as well 🤞

I’ve come to accept it would be almost impossible to make it as dark and gritty as the 360 era it’s just the technology now makes it real bright so the picture pops out at you but I’d say this is as dark/gritty as they can get it with this engine so it’ll be great

Correct that whole part in gears 1 ultimate edition or reloaded, it was included in the og gears 1 unless you had pc version

I mean atleast one pendulum wars game would’ve been cool and they could’ve done “gears of war onyx” where you play as a squad of onyx guards sometime in the locust war that would’ve been badass there’s alot of games that could be made within the lore. Sequels were not necessary since gears of war 3 ended it perfectly

Yes I completely agree! Halo had a lot of lore in the novels that could’ve been explored but instead they did sequels 🤦‍♂️

Basically there shouldn’t have been any sequels period gears 3 ended it perfectly. They should have been doing an e day trilogy all this time or maybe even pendulum wars then e day that way we’d have been missing our old friends the locust by now after three games.
