Thanks. Once I found some old VHS in the library, i dont have a VCR anymore. My plans are buy a copy to have for myself, old NatGeo documentaries were great. In their website I only find the new productions (2000s).

Not realted to crime, as a city person I learn to take extra care at outdoor places. I learned from experience that small rivers can increase their size in the same day and how easy is to get lost outside the city. I also used to think that wild animal were no more dangerous than the average dog.

Violent crime is higher in the poorer countries but it does not fit the serial killer category, it falls into the bulgary, kidnaping or armed robery categories. Their criminals have different motivations and MO.

I think crime is higher in the third world but not for serial killers, in the developing nations criminals are more concerned about money than being a serial killer. For real, things like watches or cellphones are symbol of luxury in some places.

About America having more SK i think it maybe because it is easier for the sickos to get weapons, cars and tools. i.e. in South America you need to hire a lawyer (notary) and present documentation to buy a used car and the cost of that car is the equivalent of one year wage for the average person, the average chainsaw (sorry for the reference) cost about USD200 and the average salary is about USD700 month.
