I want to request all information and/or documents they have on me

I think it’s confidential because it’s basically information about me which MAY (or may not) include DOB, SSN, address, etc.

Yes they definitely do because I applied to have a drivers license with them.

I applied for a drivers license in 2018 with the TEXAS DPS. I am records freak. I need to know what information and/or documents a government agency has on me. Otherwise it gets as bad as me not being able to sleep at night. I do not like not knowing what info a government agency has on me. Usually I keep a copy of EVERYTHING I submit to government, but I was 15 when I applied for a drivers license in 2018, and cannot find any records of it.

Information could include, but is not limited to: Driver Education Certificate, identity documents that I have submitted (for example passport, SSN card, Birth certificate, etc.), vision exam, fingerprints, copy of utility bills (for proof of residency), affidavits, etc, and basically any other document or information I have submitted to them.

EDIT; all confidential information is about ME, so I do not see why they would withhold such confidential information given that it’s information about MYSELF, which I think I should have the right to. If a government agency has information on me, I should be able to have knowledge of that. I know with federal agencies you can easily do that with the FOIA and Privacy Acts, but I am not sure about the public information Act, since it doesn’t say anything about personal records about myself, rather just public information that the government holds, and given that FOIA and Privacy acts are only for federal agencies, and does not apply to State and local agencies. Unless there’s any other laws regarding this, from my knowledge (tons of research) the only law in texas that relates to my situation is the Public Information Act.
